Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active license to practice in North Carolina.
• 5+ years of family law experience required.
• Experience in divorce, custody and related matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of family law matters from intake through resolution.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, settlements, and trials.
• Draft pleadings, motions, separation and custody agreements, and other documents.
• Develop case strategy and provide practical guidance throughout litigation.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written and oral advocacy.
• Maintain proactive client communication and deliver exceptional service.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to achieve favorable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• -Manage a full caseload of family law matters from intake through resolution.
• -Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials.
• -Draft pleadings, motions, separation agreements, custody agreements, and other legal documents.
• -Develop case strategy and provide practical legal guidance throughout the litigation process.
• -Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written and oral advocacy.
• -Maintain proactive communication with clients while delivering exceptional client service.
• -Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to achieve favorable client outcomes.

Qualifications

• -J.D.
• -Active license and good standing with the North Carolina State Bar.
• -5+ years of family law experience required.
• -Strong courtroom presence and litigation experience.
• -Experience handling divorce, equitable distribution, custody, child support, alimony, and domestic violence matters.
• -Excellent legal writing, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• -Ability to independently manage a busy caseload while working collaboratively within a team.
