Role Description

This full-time, on-site Family Law Attorney role is based in Arizona, United States. The attorney will manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal maintenance, and related issues. Daily responsibilities include client consultations, case strategy development, drafting and filing pleadings and motions, conducting discovery, preparing and taking depositions, and representing clients in hearings, mediations, and trials. The role also involves regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third-party professionals, as well as maintaining accurate case records and staying current on relevant family law statutes and case law. The attorney will collaborate with the firm’s team to ensure clients receive thorough, timely, and compassionate legal support.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law and demonstrated ability to analyze complex Legal Issues.
• Substantive experience in Family Law, including divorce, custody, support, and related matters.
• Proficiency in drafting and arguing Motions in family law proceedings.
• Experience conducting and defending Depositions, and managing discovery processes.
• Active license to practice law in Arizona, in good standing with the state bar.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, with strong negotiation and mediation abilities.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and client service, including the ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and empathy.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a family law firm or relevant litigation practice is preferred.
