Job summary

Talis Group is partnering with a Louisville law firm to grow a Family Law practice. Licensed in KY and/or IN, you will join a collaborative team that values work-life balance and flexible options after training.

The role offers a low 1,500 billable hour requirement, generous bonuses, profit sharing, and a strong benefits package. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of Family Law experience and will handle cases with support staff.

Qualifications

• Active KY or IN Bar license in good standing.
• 1-3 years of Family Law experience.
• Experience handling high-volume caseloads preferred.
• Strong courtroom, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of divorce, custody, child support, paternity, and other Family Law matters.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
• Develop legal strategies while providing compassionate, responsive client communication.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to efficiently move cases toward resolution.
