Job Description

• Manage family law cases involving divorce, child custody, child support, equitable distribution, and related matters.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, negotiations, and other legal proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
• Develop effective case strategies and guide clients through each stage of the legal process.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive legal arguments.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional client service.
• Build trusted client relationships through clear communication, compassion, and responsive representation.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Bar license required.
• 1+ years of family law experience required.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Experience handling divorce, custody, support, or other family law matters.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating with a supportive legal team.
• Courtroom and litigation experience preferred.
