Anderson Boback & Marshall, a Chicago family law firm focusing on divorce, custody, and support, seeks a Family Law Associate Attorney. You will work closely with senior partners on cases from filing to resolution, including strategy, discovery, and court filings.

The firm emphasizes open communication, personal attention, and dedicated client advocacy, with offices in Chicago and Northbrook. ABA-accredited schooling and Illinois Bar admission required.

Responsabilidades

• Executes case strategy with senior attorneys, paralegals, clients and support staff.
• Manages high level/high asset cases by maintaining contact with people involved in the case; preparing for depositions; reviewing standard court documents; drafting letters; writing and reviewing discovery; drafting responses to opposing counsel; generating status reports.
• Keeps clients informed by maintaining contact; communicating case progress.
• Supports case planning by preparing case summaries and materials for mediation conferences; preparing pleadings; monitoring discovery responses; organizing materials for firm case review.
• Attends business development and networking functions with firm leadership, as well as solo.

Family Law Associate Attorney

Associate attorneys at Anderson Boback & Marshall practice in all aspects of family law including divorce, both contested and uncontested, child custody, child support, as well as paternity, grandparent’s rights, adoption, drafting premarital and post‑marital agreements, separate maintenance, post‑decree modifications, and orders of protection. We also require a proactive approach and a strong work ethic and an eagerness to work and train under a highly successful partner to help bring our established foundation to even greater success.

• Executes case strategy with senior attorneys, paralegals, clients and support staff.

Required Legal Experience:

Experience in divorce and family law required. Must be a graduate from an ABA-accredited law school and currently admitted to the Bar in the state of Illinois with no disciplinary actions.
