• Valid driver's license with insured vehicle.

• Maintain a case load of up to 12 families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field.
• At least 1 consecutive year of child welfare experience
• Experience working with children and families in social services context preferred
• Valid driver's license with properly registered and insured vehicle
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
  
  

Job Description

• Provide supportive services to families that are at high risk of losing custody of their children
• Help families achieve case plan goals
• Attend and testify in court as an advocate/support for the parent
• Maintain a case load of up to 12 families, providing support, and developing case plans
• Travel between Kent and Sussex Counties, with occasional travel to New Castle County
• Able to accommodate some evening/weekend work schedule
