Job summary

Arrow Child & Family Ministries is seeking a Family Home Developer to oversee family assessment, preservice foster/adopt regulatory compliance, home study coordination, and family certification in Texas. The role requires a Bachelor\'s in Social Work or related field and at least one year of experience with children and families.

The position involves coordinating documentation, licensure meetings, and QA compliance, with a focus on maintaining standards across state and COA requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Social Services or a related field.
• At least one year experience working with children and families.
• Licensed Social Workers may be required in some states.

Responsibilities

• Screen prospective foster families for eligibility.
• Oversee paperwork and training requirements for foster/adoptive families.
• Perform home verifications and file audits prior to home studies.
• Coordinate the home study process after prospective families complete paperwork and Pre-Service Training.
• Perform licensure meetings and coordinate with the Intake and Programs teams.
• Review Minimum Standards, Contracts, and COA requirements for compliance.
• Coordinate information requests from prospective foster parents and ensure timely follow-up.
• Coordinate information requests with CPA's, DFPS, and other entities with timely follow-up.
• Assist with matching prospective foster parents to Arrow and regulatory standards.
• Assist with internal audits according to Arrow and regulatory QA standards.
• Report ongoing pre-licensure foster home concerns to the Senior Family Home Developer.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required by the agency and FHD team.
• Share the mission and vision of Arrow Child & Family Ministries to staff, clients and families served.
• Maintain attendance records for pre-service and in-service trainings.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to meet outcomes and practice requirements.

• Share/transmit the mission and vision of Arrow Child & Family Ministries to staff, clients and families served.
• Ensure maintenance of pre-service training attendance and in-service training attendance records for prospective families.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure outcomes and practice requirements are met while taking into consideration the level of care of clients served.
• Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, company policy, and regulatory agency standards.
• May be required to drive vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete company vehicle training.

Qualifications
