Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist the special education teacher with instruction in the classroom.
• Monitor classroom during IEP meetings and staffings.
• Assist with grading papers and phone calls.
• Assist with physical care of students as needed (diaper changing, bathroom, feeding).
• Assist in lunchroom and at recess as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with administrators, staff, and the community.
