Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
• Experience with families in community-based Head Start or family-centered programs preferred.
• Ability to establish supportive relationships with diverse families.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain collaborative relationships with assigned families as their primary contact.
• Collaborate with the Educare interdisciplinary team to promote families' understanding of child behavior and positive discipline.
• Lead family goals development through assessments and Family Partnership Agreement processes.
• Provide resources on child development and healthy growth to families.
• Plan and facilitate parent education activities and family home activities.
• Support families' attendance and address barriers to regular participation.
• Assist families with navigating educational opportunities and school transitions.
• Maintain records and document services in the management system.
