Job summary

Community Action Agency Of Oklahoma is seeking a Family Empowerment Program Coordinator at the Central Office in Oklahoma City to lead and coordinate family empowerment initiatives.   • Prepare reports and documentation to track program progress and outcomes, ensuring compliance with agency standards and funding requirements.
  • Advocate for family empowerment initiatives within the community, raising awareness and promoting participation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community resources and best practices in family empowerment.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that respects diversity and unique needs of each family served.

Job Purpose

- The Family Empowerment Program Coordinator at the Community Action Agency of Oklahoma will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating programs aimed at empowering families within the community. This role involves developing strategies to support families in achieving self-sufficiency, enhancing their quality of life, and fostering a nurturing environment for growth. The coordinator will play a pivotal role in connecting families with resources, services, and opportunities that promote their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage family empowerment programs that align with the agency's mission and goals.
  • Collaborate with community partners, stakeholders, and service providers to enhance program offerings and ensure comprehensive support for families.

Required Education:

Required Experience:

  • Proven track record of working with diverse families and communities to empower and support them in achieving self-sufficiency.
  • Experience in developing and implementing family support programs or services.
  • Previous experience in supervising staff or volunteers is highly desirable.
