Job summary

WestCare Foundation in Fresno, CA is seeking a part-time facilitator to organize, plan, and deliver onsite group education sessions for parents and children in life skills areas.

You will follow evidence-based curricula for the Celebrating Families Program, assess family needs, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications include HS diploma, strong communication, teamwork, and ability to work independently; bilingual English/Spanish preferred; CPR/First Aid and TB tests may be required.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in social/human services preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification and TB test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan, and deliver onsite group education sessions for parents and children.
• Assess family needs for educational services, including substance use prevention and healthy living skills.
• Facilitate a positive learning environment.
• Provide input at case staffing team meetings.
• Evaluate the progress of participants.
• Maintain accurate client records/charts.
