Job summary

Riverbend is seeking a Family Coach to support families in navigating behavioral health and child welfare systems. You will advocate, connect resources, and coach families toward their goals in community settings.

The role emphasizes compassionate, confidential client support within a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on empowering family voice and self-advocacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field is required.
• Lived experience navigating behavioral health or child welfare systems for their own children preferred.
• Knowledge of the system of care for substance use and mental health treatment in Merrimack County and surrounding areas preferred.
• Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance or access to a reasonable alternative is required.

Who You Are:

The ideal Family Coach is compassionate, dependable, resourceful, and passionate about helping people and families succeed. We're looking for someone who is:

• Experience working with families, behavioral health, community services, child welfare, education, healthcare, or other human services is valuable. Lived experience and a strong understanding of family-centered care are also valued.

Requirements

What You'll Bring

• Lived experience navigating behavioral health or child welfare systems for their own children.
• Knowledge of the system of care for substance use and mental health treatment, as well as available resources in Merrimack County and surrounding areas preferred.
• Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance or access to a reasonable alternative is required.
