Job summary

A community-based mental health organization in Wilmington, NC is hiring a Family Centered Therapist to deliver a range of mental health therapy services. The role involves conducting evaluations, developing therapy plans, and providing individual and group counseling. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, meet the requirements for a Qualified Professional in Mental Health, and ideally possess a Master's degree along with relevant experience. Qualifications

• Completion of Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service field preferred.
• Must meet requirements as a Qualified Professional for Mental Health.
• Two years of progressive experience in child and family mental health/substance use counseling is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent diagnostic and psycho-social evaluations.
• Develop person-centered plans based on client assessments.
• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy.
• Provide therapeutic activities for individuals with disabilities and co-occurring disorders.
