Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) seeks an Intact Child Welfare Specialist to provide comprehensive casework for child safety and family support. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, offering training and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related human services field.
• Background check clearance (criminal and CANTS).
• State licensing/certification as required by Illinois DCFS.
• CWEL or ability to obtain license.
• CERAP required.

Responsibilities

• Provide full casework services to ensure safety and wellbeing of children.
• Assist families to meet minimum parenting standards.
• Respond to inquiries via email, phone, text, and fax in a timely manner.
• Protect confidential information and ensure system security.
• Complete required training and comply with policies.
