Job summary

Jefferson Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Family Birth Center in Port Townsend, WA. You will provide compassionate labor/delivery care, applying the nursing process to tailor care to each patient while promoting continuity of care.

The role is per diem with 12 hours per week and shifts as 0700-1930 or 1900-0730. Per diem pay, BSN/certification incentives, weekend/holiday differentials, and PSLF eligibility are offered.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of labor & delivery nursing experience.
• Washington state RN license in good standing required.
• BLS, NRP, ACLS (within 6 months of hire) and STABLE (within 6 months) required.
• AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate/Advanced within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care during labor and delivery using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care while ensuring continuity of care.
• Support neighboring departments and contribute to facility-wide success.

The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care during the labor and delivery process, which is individually tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient using the nursing process. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while ensuring that patient needs and expected outcomes are met through promoting continuity of care. As a valued member of the team, you will also have the opportunity to utilize your skills to support neighboring departments and contribute to the overall success of the facility.

What you'll need:
