• Meets NYS Civil Service appointment requirements for the title of T&Rx Center Licensed Practical Nurse.
• LPN licensure and registration as outlined by NYS Education Department.

Responsibilities

• Administers care that is individualized and is consistent with the plan of care and with standards of care/practice.
• Reports to RN any change in patient condition and administers medications.
• Functions independently within area of practice and conducts patient/family teaching under RN direction.
• Assists in implementing the plan of care and maintains a safe working environment.
• Contributes to team building and supports department goals and patient care quality.
