Qualifications

Job description

Full-time position (80 hours biweekly)

Schedule: Days and evenings

Includes clinical hours and licensure supervision.

Sign-On Bonus: Eligible and paid within 3 weeks of start date: $7,500 with a 3-year commitment, $5,000 with a 2-year commitment, or $2,500 with a 1-year commitment.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid remote work

Qualifications:

  1. Two years of clinical experience with children and adolescents in a behavioral health setting preferred.
  2. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including up to four evenings per week.
  3. Own transportation and a valid Pennsylvania driver's license are required.
  4. Comfort working in families' homes.
  5. Willingness to be on-call on a rotating basis.

Position Overview:

The Family Based Therapist / Allied Mental Health Professional provides:

  1. Therapeutic interventions (individual, family, group) in homes, communities, and schools.
  2. Case management and community linkage.
  3. Crisis management.

The role involves collaboration with treatment team members both inside and outside the agency.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Assessing patients and families regarding home environment, relationships, health history, and personality traits.
  2. Conducting therapy sessions and monitoring progress.
  3. Providing therapeutic interventions and documenting care.
  4. Coordinating care and leading interagency meetings.

Skills Required:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical skills for psychosocial data assessment.
  • Ability to observe patient behavior.
  • Knowledge of care for children, adolescents, and adults, considering their unique needs.
  • Own transportation and valid PA driver's license.

Experience and Education:

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field; or bachelor's degree with CMHFBW certification.
  • At least two years of experience working with children/adolescents in mental health.

Department:

Family Based Services are delivered in-home and community settings, focusing on family cohesion, crisis intervention, and coordination with other services.

  4. Recovery and trauma-informed services.
  5. Trusting relationships.

Minimum Education:

  • Master's Degree in psychology, marriage and family counseling, or human services.

Work Experience:

  • Two years of clinical experience with children and adolescents.

Driver's License:

Must have a valid driver's license in your state; driving record must meet agency requirements.
