Momentum Services, LLC is seeking a Family Based Therapist to provide individual, parenting, family, and other therapy sessions in home, school, and community settings.

You will work as part of a team that delivers a comprehensive 30-day initial assessment, family therapy, and child-focused sessions, with on-call crisis support and ongoing trainings. Local travel is required, ensuring consistent client engagement and support.

This position provides individual, parenting, family, and other as needed therapy sessions.

Qualifications:

Therapists work with the family to stabilize the child(ren) by increasing the quality of relationships and functioning within the family system and community. The Family Based therapists work as a team to provide therapy to children/youth and their families. As a team, the therapists provide a comprehensive 30-day initial assessment, family therapy, child individual therapy, sibling therapy, parenting sessions/support, case management & assistance/advocacy within the community. These services are provided in the home, school, and community. Each Family Based therapist takes part in an on-call rotation to provides crisis support for all the families in our Family Based program as needed. Specialized training is provided & required. Family Based Therapists must be willing to work a flexible schedule.

A Family Based Therapist must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a human service field and one year of work experience with children and/or families.

FBI, PA Child Abuse, and Criminal background checks are required as well as:

• Must have the ability to provide excellent and compassionate service to families

• Time management and organizational skills

• Commitment to learn and attend regular trainings as assigned

• Ability to work independently and within a team structure
• Ability to exercise a high level of confidentiality and flexibility

• Excellent communication skills with clientele and staff

• Independently motivated and able to work within a partnership

• Computer and typing skills sufficient to perform essential job functions

• Passionate about serving the members of our community
• Local travel is required for sessions
