Job summary

The Wellington Agency is seeking a reliable Family Assistant in Rolling Hills, CA to support a family of four with childcare and day-to-day household needs. This full-time position offers a structured schedule and room to grow with the family.

Responsibilities include childcare, meals, light housekeeping, school drop-offs/pick-ups, and coordinating activities. Domestic travel is expected, with potential international trips. Gas allowance is provided with hourly compensation of $35–$40/hour DOE.

Responsibilities

• Childcare and homework assistance
• Engaging the children in age-appropriate activities, outings, reading, and play
• School drop-offs and pick-ups
• Preparing healthy meals, packed lunches, and plated dinners for the children
• Children's laundry and steaming
• Light household organization and upkeep, including dishes, tidying, wiping surfaces, and vacuuming
• Grocery shopping, returns, and household errands
• Coordinating activities, summer camps, and vendors
• Providing parents with daily updates on the children's activities, meals, naps, and behavior
• Assisting with family vehicle upkeep, including car washes
• Occasional date-night coverage
• Assisting with additional family and household needs as they arise

Job description

Location: Rolling Hills, CA
Compensation: $35–$40/hour DOE + gas allowance
Schedule: Full-time, 40.5 hours/week
Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 8 AM–5 PM
Tuesday: 12 PM–5:30 PM
Thursday: 12 PM–8 PM
Travel: Domestic travel with the family, with potential international travel
