Oregon Child Development Coalition invites applications for a Family Advocate at the Mulino site (Marion County). This full-time position provides case management, home visits, and direct health and social services to families, supporting Head Start standards.

You will coordinate enrollment, referrals, and parent involvement activities, maintaining records and partnering with community agencies while upholding confidentiality and safety requirements.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Credential or degree in social work or related field, or 1 year health/social services experience.
• Must complete Family Advocate Certificate Level 1 within 12 months of hire.
• 2 years of experience working with children and/or families.

Aufgaben

• Provide program case management services to children and families (health, social services, literacy).
• Conduct enrollment procedures and home visits.
• Assess family strengths/needs; assist in goal setting.
• Connect families to community resources and services.
• Maintain records and monthly reports; enter data in tracking system.
• Advocate for Head Start families and encourage parent involvement.
• Plan and evaluate parent events; support limited translation/interpretation.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety policies.

Ausbildung

High school diploma or GED

Credential, certificate or degree in social work / human services / family services / counseling

2 years of work experience with children and/or families
