Acelero, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Family Advocate to empower families, promote school readiness, and connect resources in Milwaukee, WI. You will guide enrollment, health goals, and collaborate with partners to ensure culturally responsive care.

The role focuses on ERSEA, family engagement, and data-driven planning, with travel up to 10% and a commitment to supporting diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Requires associate or bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or a related field.
• We will also consider candidates with a high school diploma and 3 years of community work with families plus a Family Development Certificate or Credential.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Engage families in in-home and group experiences to enhance parent/child interactions for school readiness.
• Manage ERSEA, record keeping, monitoring, planning, and maintaining a safe, healthy learning environment.
• Participate in outreach, recruitment and attendance follow-up to engage families.
• Assist families with completing applications and collecting missing documents.
• Support families in health-related information collection.
• Maintain enrollment levels and analyze enrollment data to inform planning.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations to expand access to resources.
• Attend meetings, events, and trainings as required.
