Job summary

Choctaw Global in the United States seeks a Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist (FAIS) to join the installation’s Family Advocacy Program (FAP). You will provide clinical treatment and prevention services within a multidisciplinary team to protect military families from domestic violence, child maltreatment, and PSB-CY.

Qualifications

• U.S.-licensed LCSW or LMFT with current unrestricted license.
• Minimum two years post-master's clinical experience in a clinical/treatment setting.
• Experience counseling individuals and families affected by abuse or maltreatment.
• Experience facilitating group therapy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical and prevention SME within the FAP team.
• Deliver treatment and case management per FATM responsibilities.
• Provide secondary prevention services for domestic violence and PSB-CY.
• Deliver Leader Training to Commanders and key agencies.
• Represent FAP with CAT and other community agencies.
• Develop, promote, and implement FAP prevention programs.
• Conduct outreach to establish prevention partnerships.
• Implement social marketing to raise awareness of domestic abuse.
• Identify family violence trends using data and feedback.
• Support NPSP and FAST services as assigned.
• Provide counseling, education, and psychoeducational services.
• Maintain family resource information and prevention materials.
• Document activities per DAF FAP guidance.
• Support quarterly reporting and program evaluation.
• Participate in FAP meetings and quality improvement.
• Collaborate with military leadership and community partners.
