Job summary

Choctaw Global is seeking a Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist (FAIS) to join the installation’s Family Advocacy Program (FAP). The FAIS will blend clinical treatment with secondary prevention, outreach, and family support to strengthen military families.

The role collaborates with military leadership, base organizations, and community partners, delivering training and prevention programs and ensuring program standards are met.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active U.S.-licensed LCSW or LMFT.
• Master's degree from CSWE-accredited or COAMFTE/AAMFT-aligned program.
• Current, unrestricted U.S. LCSW or LMFT license.
• Minimum two years of post-master's clinical experience.
• Two years of full-time post-master's counseling experience.
• Experience facilitating or co-leading group therapy.
• Experience with individuals and families affected by abuse or maltreatment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical and prevention SME within the FAP team.
• Provide clinical treatment and case management services per FATM responsibilities.
• Deliver secondary prevention services for domestic violence, child maltreatment, PSB-CY.
• Provide New Leader Orientation and Annual Leader Training to Commanders and leaders.
• Represent the installation FAP to CAT and community agencies.
• Develop, coordinate, promote, and implement FAP prevention programs.
• Conduct outreach and collaboration with FAP staff and community partners.
• Implement social marketing to raise awareness of family maltreatment prevention.
• Identify trends and use data to target prevention initiatives.
• Support NPSP and FAST services as assigned.
• Provide counseling, education, group facilitation, and psychoeducational services.
• Maintain accessible family resource information and prevention materials.
• Document activities per DAF FAP guidance and program standards.
• Maintain documentation for quarterly reporting and evaluation.
• Participate in FAP meetings, clinical coordination, and quality improvement.
