Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a New Graduate Registered Nurse (ADN/BSN) for full-time roles across multiple hospital units, with day and night shifts available.

The RN will implement professional nursing care centered on the patient, coordinating rounds, assessments and education to support healing and wellness. Kentucky RN licensure and nursing degree required; ADN graduates encouraged to pursue BSN.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor's degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness.
• Coordinating, ensuring and providing direct patient care activities on the unit including nursing rounds, assessments and treatments, admissions/transfers/discharges, patient and family education, and care coordination.

Job Description:

• The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness.
• The Registered Nurse (RN) is an exemplar for compassion, acceptance, respect, and empathy honoring nursing as a distinct discipline and supporting an environment focused on healing and wellness.
• As a clinical nurse, this individual spends majority of his/her time (> 50%) coordinating, ensuring and providing direct patient care activities on the unit through: provision of nursing rounds, assessments and treatments; facilitating admission, transfer and discharge activities; provision of patient and family-centered education; care coordination and individualized treatment planning as applicable, etc.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
