Job summary

Rye Junior High School is seeking a Boys Assistant Soccer Coach for the upcoming season. The role runs from September 1, 2026 through October 23, 2026, with a stipend of $1,000. Responsibilities include leading practices, developing players, and coordinating with the Athletic Director for scheduling.

The ideal candidate will have some playing or coaching experience, be at least 18, and hold current First Aid/CPR and concussion certifications, plus pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Playing experience and/or coaching experience preferred.
• Proof of current First Aid, CPR, and concussion certification
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Develop a regular practice schedule and organize practice time for skill and team development.
• Condition student-athletes with endurance, strength, and agility activities.
• Schedule practices and games with the Athletic Director.
• Coach players on rules, techniques and safety of the sport.
• Instruct in fundamentals, strategies and proper conditioning.
