Job summary

Audacy in Buffalo, NY offers an internship program for News Talk 930 WBEN. The fall internship runs September 3–November 14, with interns expected to work 3 days a week for up to 20 hours per week.

We are offering an Internship Program for our Buffalo, NY radio station: News Talk 930 WBEN.

- Fall internship: September 3rd – November 14

- Interns will be expected to work 3 days a week with up to 20 hours per week

Requirements

• Learn the inner workings of broadcast, digital and live events
• Pre-show prep, writing, production, rehearsal and content treatment aligning daily content tobrand goals
• Gathering audio and video for programs
• Screening of live phone calls and text message exchanges
• Post show production, including editing of audio and podcast distribution
• Voiceover assignments and commercial production as needed
• Video stream management, editing and clipping
• Social media and website contribution
• Assist in station appearances or live broadcasts
• Support the marketing, sales, and programming teams in performing daily office functions as partof each department's business strategy
• Work as a team while collaborating with other departments to gather and arrange informationneeded for various projects and brainstorm ideas
• Attend meetings and training sessions

Experience

Experience first-hand and directly contribute to the operations of Buffalo’s #1 News and Talk station
