Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) is offering a Fall Intern in Engineering at our Scranton, PA location. This internship provides hands-on exposure to engineering tasks and allows you to support the technical staff while learning our processes in a climate-controlled environment.

You will assist with experiments, data collection, and documentation while developing teamwork and communication skills, with no travel required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in related technical courses or be within 6 months of graduation, with no prior experience required.
• Must be enrolled in a technical college or degree-seeking program.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
• Requires regular movement throughout GD‑OTS facilities.
• May need to stand for long periods of time.
• Work primarily in a climate‑controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
• This position is Safety‑Sensitive.

Travel Requirements:

• No or very little travel likely.
