Job summary

AEG is seeking a Fall Intern for Global Partnerships – Data & Research in Los Angeles. This role offers hands-on exposure to market research, data analysis, and reporting that informs sales and activation efforts for major brand partnerships in live events.

The intern will collect and interpret sales data, prepare concise reports, and collaborate with internal teams to translate insights into strategic actions. Part-time, on-site, with a pay range of $19–$21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant degree.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Preferred experience with Excel, SAS, SPSS, R, Python.
• Database knowledge (AWS, Azure).
• Familiar with SQL and data warehousing.
• Preferred familiarity with research methods (surveys, experiments, observation).
• Can work in a fast-paced team.
• Experience with PowerPoint, Word, Excel preferred.
• Interest in sports and entertainment industry.
• The internship requires a minimum of 18 hours per week during the fall.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data and market trends.
• Prepare clear and concise reporting on findings.
• Assist in the identification and development of new research techniques.
• Collaborate with internal teams on translating insights to strategy.
• Assist in the design and implementation of research projects.
• Provide support to the broader Global Partnerships Sales and Activation teams.
• When necessary, assist with planning and execution of event day operations.
• Create presentations, slide decks, and other data visualizations.
