Job summary

BlazerJobs is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based contract near Crown Point, IN. You will substitute for an SLP on FMLA from August 10 through the end of October, with the option for onsite or VOCO delivery.

You’ll manage a caseload of 117 students across two elementary buildings, delivering interventions, evaluations, and IEP services. Qualifications include a Master’s in SLP, CCC-SLP, and IN license (or eligibility).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Current CCC-SLP certification.
• Active IN state SLP license or eligibility.
• Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations.
• Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and report writing.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Comfort with technology for VOCO/remote roles if interested.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students.
• Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Collaborate with special education staff and families.
• Maintain accurate records and reports per district guidelines.
• Utilize an SLA to support service delivery and efficiency.
