Job summary

Hanover Township is seeking a FALL INTERN for the Office of Community Affairs. The position is a non-exempt intern role offering 15–24 hours per week at $15.00 per hour.

The ideal candidate is a current student in Mass Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, Political Science or related field with strong writing and verbal skills. The duties include creating digital and print promotional content, assisting in planning Township events, representing the Township at community events,

Qualifications

• Must be a current student in a related field with strong writing and communication skills.
• Excellent verbal communication, analysis, problem solving, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create digital and print promotional content for the Township.
• Assist in planning Township events and represent the Township at community events.
• Draft weekly e-newsletters and perform light research/writing for staff.
• Perform duties as assigned by staff.
