Trillium, a leading trading firm headquartered in New York, seeks an Equity Trader to gain direct market exposure and master proprietary tools. You will work with an experienced trainer, trading across US, Canadian, and OTC equities and US options markets.

Within the first month you’ll actively trade with mentorship, develop quantitative and analytical skills, and learn risk management on our platform. The role requires a recent graduate with strong GPA and drive.

The Role:

As an Equity Trader, you will gain direct exposure to the markets while mastering our proprietary trading tools and strategies. From day one, you’ll work side‑by‑side with an experienced trainer and be immersed in a diverse mix of trading strategies, developing both the technical skills and judgment needed to succeed in a fast paced environment.

Within your first month on the desk, you’ll actively trade and manage firm capital under close mentorship, honing your ability to make split‑second buy and sell decisions on our proprietary keyboard‑based trading platform. Along the way, you will develop a deep understanding of U.S., Canadian, and OTC equity markets, as well as the U.S. options market.

We invest heavily in education and development for both new and veteran traders, offering a mix of classroom sessions and on‑demand resources to support continuous growth. This structure helps strengthen your quantitative, analytical, and research skills, while deepening your knowledge of economics, risk management, and market structure.

Compensation:

• Annual base salary of $58,000-$66,300 (gross)
• Monthly P&L-based bonuses (contingent on trading performance)

• Is analytical, intellectually curious, disciplined, and deeply interested in financial markets

• Holds (or is pursuing) a degree in economics, mathematics, business, finance, or a related field

Job Requirements:

• The position is intended for soon to be college graduates (Fall/Winter 2026 or Spring 2027 graduation) with a cumulative 3.5+ GPA
