Job summary

FEG Investment Advisors is seeking a Software Engineer Intern for Fall 2026 in Cincinnati, OH. This part‑time role (20 hours per week) supports a collaborative IT/Engineering team on development, data integration, and modernization projects.

The successful candidate is currently pursuing a related bachelor’s degree and has basic coding and development tool experience. Hybrid work arrangement guides balancing school commitments with hands-on learning in a real investment environment.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CS, software engineering, information systems, or related field.
Foundational programming experience from coursework, projects, internships, or personal work.
Basic understanding of software development concepts, version control, databases, APIs, and testing.

Responsibilities

Assist with software development tasks across internal applications, APIs, data integrations, and automation.
Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, and technology leaders to understand requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
Write, test, debug, and document code under guidance of experienced team members.
Support application modernization efforts including updates to legacy systems and cloud-based services.
Participate in team planning, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement discussions.
