Job summary

Munich Airport NJ LLC, a US-based subsidiary of Munich Airport, is seeking a Software and Data Analyst Intern for Fall 2026 to join the Facilities Maintenance team onsite at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). The role includes building Power BI dashboards from Maximo data, developing data models, and performing SQL/Python tasks to support airport operations.

This paid internship requires active enrollment in a 4-year college with a graduation window of December 2027–July 2028, and

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a 4-year college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree with expected graduation between December 2027 – July 2028
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering/Data Science or similar with GPA 3.2+
Proficiency in SQL for querying databases such as Microsoft SQL Server
Hands-on experience with Power BI for dashboards
Strong Python programming for analysis and automation
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in future

Responsibilities

Assist in development of Power BI dashboards for Facilities using data from Maximo and airport systems
Develop and optimize semantic models in Power BI using snowflake schema
Develop SQL queries to extract data from Maximo for Power BI
Design interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for facilities metrics
Support management with daily tasks and engineering activities
