Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering intern for a 9-week program focused on design, testing, and fabrication of a roll control system component. You will perform entry-level SolidWorks tasks, assist in data collection for lab tests, and help fabricate prototype parts while supporting the engineering team.

The internship runs on-site in Reno, NV, with opportunities to prepare presentations and reports in conjunction with project data reductions.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate student with junior standing by fall 2026.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and Ansys; strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Hands-on experience with mechanical design and prototype fabrication is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete entry-level SolidWorks design, drawing, data-management and toolbox features.
• Assist with lab-based testing and collect/integrate engineering data.

This program offers university and graduate students hands-on experience through project-based work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
