Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in Atlanta, Georgia, to provide direct patient care as per hospital policies. The role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating care under the guidance of Registered Nurses.

Candidates must be graduates of accredited nursing programs with a current Georgia LPN license and Basic Life Support certification. Additional clinical specialty certifications are preferred. Work hours are from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification is mandatory.

• Render direct patient care to assigned patients.
• Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.

Responsibilities

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) render direct patient care to an assigned group of patients, in accordance with the philosophy, policies and procedures of Northside Hospital. LPNs participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. LPNs work under the direction of the Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.

PREFERRED

• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications may be preferred in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
