Job summary

Ingredion invites a motivated student to join our Global Internal Audit team as an Internal Audit Intern to support audit activities and apply data analytics across the organization. You will gain exposure to enterprise systems such as SAP and Concur, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help strengthen internal controls while developing practical auditing and data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or similar with GPA at least 3.0/4.0.
• Ability to work 20-30 hrs per week during fall internship term.
• Ability to work on-site in Westchester office at least 1 day per week.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
• Experience or coursework in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to interact with all management levels.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking ability.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with audit execution under supervision, documenting business processes and controls.
• Perform audit testing procedures and evaluate supporting evidence.
• Prepare audit workpapers and analyze data patterns, anomalies, and risks.
• Develop analytics-based procedures for compliance and audit testing.
• Exposure to enterprise systems including SAP and Concur.
