Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated is seeking a motivated Internal Audit Intern to support audit activities, apply analytics to evaluate processes, and gain exposure to enterprise systems such as SAP and Concur. You will document controls, perform testing, and help enhance internal controls across the organization.

The role requires progress toward a bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field, a GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher, and the ability to work 20–30 hours per week on-site in Westchester.

Qualifications

• Progress toward a bachelor's degree with GPA 3.0/4.0 or higher.
• Ability to work 20–30 hrs per week during fall term.
• On-site at Westchester office at least 1 day per week.
• Proficient Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Experience or coursework in data visualizations tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across management levels.
• Strong attention to detail and organization; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Assist with audit execution under supervision, documenting processes and controls.
• Perform audit testing procedures and evaluate supporting evidence.
• Leverage data analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and risks.
• Support development of analytics-based procedures for compliance and testing.
• Gain exposure to SAP and Concur and assess control effectiveness.
