Job summary

  • Assist in identifying and analyzing manufacturing IT application issues and help to fix or improve them.
  • Collaborate across functions to gather requirements for ongoing Wafer Manufacturing Automation Platform IT projects.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of automated solutions using various tools and technologies.
  • Support development and delivery of communications and training materials to engage end users and increase adoption of new self‑service options.
  • Monitor and optimize existing automated processes.
  • Document high‑priority automation opportunities with IT teams and managed service providers.
  • Stay updated on emerging automation and AI/agent‑driven workflows and best practices to inform the Wafer Automation platform transformation roadmap.

We are seeking a detail‑oriented, analytical, and enthusiastic IT Intern for the Wafer Systems Automation Ecosystem to join our dynamic team in the San Jose office, United States. This internship offers hands‑on experience in transforming the Wafer Manufacturing Automation Ecosystem from legacy to modern platforms and automating IT processes and manufacturing tools using the latest technologies, including AI/ML tools and agentic technologies. As a member of our IT team, you will collaborate with managed service providers and internal stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, design, develop, test IT solutions, and promote self‑service capabilities to end users. This is an ideal role for someone eager to apply technical and communication skills to real‑world challenges, drive innovation, and make a tangible impact within a global organization.
