Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to provide professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders. The nurse will manage patient care for an assigned group, reflecting Northside's values of collaboration and empowerment.

The role requires a nursing degree, RN license in Georgia, and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include a BSN degree and clinical certifications. Work hours are from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients.
• Manages patient care of an assigned group in accordance with established guidelines.
• Reflects values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Additionally, the practice of all professional nurses at Northside Hospital reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED

• BSN degree
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
