Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Electronics Technician (Falcon Test) in McGregor, Texas to install and calibrate test instrumentation for Falcon vehicle verification tests and support propulsion and structural tests.

Responsibilities include wiring, calibration, data acquisition, analysis of test data, troubleshooting, and collaboration with design engineers to resolve failures. Requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in instrumentation; associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certification.
• 2+ years of experience with instrumentation and data acquisition hardware.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex technical assignments involving instrumentation and data acquisition/processing systems.
• Connect and verify sensors such as pressure transducers and thermocouples.
• Install connectors, pins, terminals, and lugs.
• Layout and wire electrical panels and test stands.
• Read schematics, diagrams and engineering drawings.
• Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to diagnose test data issues.
• Travel as required up to 25%.
