Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Integration Technician (Fairings) for night shift at our Vandenberg facility. You will refurbish and test Falcon 9 fairings, install and inspect complex hardware, and work in a high‑pressure space environment with a focus on quality and efficiency.

You will support a team of technicians and engineers, operate in clean rooms, and engage in hands-on assembly, testing, and integration of spacecraft components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years hands-on assembly, test, maintenance or installation experience or a trade certificate
• Associate degree in aerospace technology or equivalent
• Experience with launch vehicle or spacecraft integration, clean rooms, testing with gases/fluids, data acquisition and field measurements
• Experience interpreting technical data

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to fairing team on both new production and flight-proven fairings
• Hands-on operations with large and small assemblies
• Install spacecraft hardware per drawings and schematics
• Repair and install harnessing, thermal protective skin, avionics boxes, propulsion fluid systems
• Ensure quality refurbishment for flight hardware and ground support equipment
• Collaborate with engineers to improve processes and reduce costs
