Position Overview

Reporting to the Director of Faith Relations, the Faith Relations Administrative Coordinator is a part-time position responsible for providing detailed and strategic support for the Faith Relations and Advocacy departments’ efforts to mobilize the faith community in Habitat Wake’s service area. Faith Relations inspires congregations to be involved in every aspect of our ministry. The person in this position will partner with the Faith Relations department for approximately 80% of their time and with the Advocacy department for 20% of their time. Essential Functions

The focus of the Faith Relations Administrative Coordinator is to provide detailed administrative support for the successful implementation of the building and advocacy campaigns with congregations.

These Responsibilities Include

  • Tracking and acknowledging financial gifts.
  • Maintain MS Excel directory of congregational contacts and oversee the transition into Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (Razor’s Edge).
  • Track Metrics.
  • Manage catering, RSVP’s and desktop publishing for Special Events.
  • Oversee photo archive.
  • Manage grant applications and reporting.
  • Prepare board materials.
  • General administrative support for the Advocacy department.
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Habitat works in an Interfaith capacity, and the applicant must demonstrate cultural competency in this environment.
  • It is essential that the candidate can demonstrate fluency in the following technology platforms: Outlook, MS Office 365, and Razor’s Edge.
  • Is it desired that the candidate demonstrate ability in some or all of the following technology platforms: iContact, Asana, Canva, Google photo albums, and Volunteer Hub.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a busy administrative office.
  • Skilled project manager experience is preferred.


Education And Experience

Demonstrated effectiveness in office operations is required.

Bachelor's Degree Preferred But Not Required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates primarily in a professional office environment and routinely requires operating standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and fax machines. Occasionally, they work in outside conditions that can include heat, humidity, and high noise levels.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None.

SUPERVISORY CONTROLS

Employees are responsible for planning and carrying out assignments. Problems and deviations in assignments are handled by established policies and procedures. Individuals work both independently and in a team environment and are responsible for the quality and technical accuracy of work produced.
