Qualifications

• Practicing Catholic with knowledge of Catholic teaching, sacraments, and catechetical methodology.
• Experience in catechesis, education, or parish ministry.
• Enthusiasm for sharing faith.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to prioritize in a multi-parish environment.
• Ability to collaborate with clergy, staff, parents, and volunteers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, digital communication, and parish systems (training provided).
• Ability to lift/move program materials and support events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the pastoral leader, staff, and consultative bodies in implementing the mission of the parish family.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for faith formation including Vacation Bible School for elementary students.
• Direct Baptismal and Sacramental Preparation programs (First Reconciliation and First Communion).
• Lead planning meetings related to faith formation events, objectives, strategies, and goals.
• Manage the faith formation office and volunteers; provide administrative support.
