Job summary

Archspm is seeking a Catechetical Ministry Coordinator to organize our parish religious education programs. This part-time, salaried role collaborates with staff and volunteers to deliver faith formation for all ages, coordinate Sacramental Preparation, and support community meals.

You will supervise catechists, manage curriculum and media resources, oversee the parish library, and partner on community events and youth programs.

Responsibilities

• Whole Community Formation: With staff and other parish team leaders, facilitate a comprehensive program for all ages that includes faith formation, service opportunities, and community meals
• Sacramental Preparation: Direct programs for Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation
• Youth Programs: Coordinate various youth opportunities, including Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Children’s Liturgy of the Word, Advent program, Stations of the Cross, and summer service trips
• Volunteer supervision: Mentor and oversee the training of all faith formation catechists and volunteers.
• Curriculum and media management: Oversee the collection and use of educational materials and Parish Library
• Community Events: Collaborate with staff and volunteers on community-building events
