Job summary

Archdiocese of Seattle is seeking a part-time Faith Formation Coordinator for grades K-5, including Sacramental Preparation, at Ss. Cosmas and Damian Mission in Orting, WA 98360.

The role focuses on supervising weekly classes, ensuring Catechists are prepared, and maintaining attendance records within ParishStaq. The position supports safety and well-being of children and collaborates with the Parish Family Pastoral Assistant for program goals.

Qualifications

• Salary will be determined based on internal equity, market data, and applicant's skills and prior relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees weekly Faith Formation classes, providing supervision for student check-in.
• Ensures Catechists attend and have necessary supplies for lessons.
• Communicates with parents for safety and well-being of children.
• Works with Parish Family Pastoral Assistant for Faith Formation to meet program objectives.
• Maintains attendance records for Elementary Faith Formation and Sacramental Preparation in ParishStaq data system.
• Maintains inventory of educational supplies and re-orders as appropriate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
