Job summary

Lucas Christian Academy seeks dependable assistant track coaches to support our high school and junior high track and field program. You will assist with practices, supervise student-athletes, teach proper techniques, and help at meets while promoting teamwork and Christ-like character.

As a stipend-only position, you will partner with the Athletic Director and Program Head Coach, uphold TAPPS rules, travel as needed, and model integrity and faith in all coaching activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Coaching or track experience preferred but not required.
• Must meet employment and background-check requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with practices and drills.
• Supervise student-athletes during practices and events.
• Teach proper techniques and form for track events.
• Help at track meets and travel as needed.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and Christ-like character.
