Qualifications

• Ability to support Catholic identity and mission
• Knowledge of elementary curriculum, instruction, assessment, and classroom management
• Ability to teach multiple subjects in a self-contained classroom
• Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Must meet diocesan employment and EIM requirements before starting

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction across language arts, math, science, social studies, and religion
• Develop weekly lesson plans with objectives, activities, differentiation, and assessments
• Establish a structured, welcoming classroom with clear expectations and routines
• Use data and observations to monitor progress and adjust instruction
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate records
• Communicate proactively with families about student progress and expectations
• Collaborate with grade-level colleagues and support staff to promote instructional consistency
• Participate in meetings, PD, liturgies, and school activities
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and inclusive learning environment
