Job summary

The Archdiocese of St. Louis seeks a Catholic Classroom Aide to support teachers in creating a Christ-centered, academically excellent environment, fostering spiritual, intellectual, social, and emotional growth in students.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
Experience with children in educational settings preferred.
Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with Catholic teachings and faith-based education.

Responsibilities

Faith Formation and Integration: Model Catholic values and support integration in activities.
Instructional Support: Assist with lesson plans and provide 1:1 or small-group help.
Student Development: Foster positive relationships and monitor behavior.
Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, clean, welcoming space and support routines.
Community Engagement: Build relationships with students, families and colleagues.
