Job summary

The Navigators Bookstore at Glen Eyrie in Colorado Springs is seeking a Bookstore Attendant to provide customer service, handle café items, and support store operations. You will assist customers with questions and purchases, process POS transactions, and help stock inventory while contributing to our mission-focused environment.

Requirements include strong organization, a year of barista/retail experience, and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Barista or Retail preferred.
• Strong organization & time management with emphasis on customer service.
• Microsoft Office, POS software, computer skills and ability to learn new technology.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with bookstore customers and assist them with questions, purchases and conduct point-of-sale transaction.
• Manage customer food and beverage orders and prepare food and beverages to fulfill customer orders.
• Receive, input, price, and shelve new inventory.
• Assist Bookstore Manager with product purchasing & staff training as needed.
• Submit time worked on a weekly basis through the Workday Time Tracking system.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, 3-4 shifts a week including days, nights and weekends.
• Regular shifts are between 5-8 hours.
• Must be available for weekends.
