Qualifications

• Experience in private school sector acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans.
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Prepare a safe classroom environment for class activities and instruction.
• Provide and expose students to a variety of learning materials and resources.
• Identify and select resources to meet students' varying needs.
• Use technology to support instruction.
• Observe and evaluate students' performance and development.
• Maintain discipline per school rules.
• Assign and grade class work, homework, and assessments in a timely manner.
• Keep up-to-date records of grades, lesson plans, and assignments.
• Communicate information to administration, colleagues, students and parents.
• Keep up-to-date with developments in subject areas and teaching methods.
• Work with grade level teams to plan student learning and progress.
• Participate in professional development to stay current.
• Live out faith in a way that facilitates discipleship and mentoring.
